Herman Brood - 'My Way'
In 2001 is Herman Brood helemaal versleten. Zeventien jaar geleden sprong hij zijn eigen dood tegemoet vanaf het dak van het Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam. Op de dag van zijn uitvaart wordt zijn versie van 'My Way' om 12.00 uur op alle Nederlandse radiozenders gedraaid. Een maand na zijn dood bereikt Brood postuum de eerste plaats in de Mega Top 50.

Mika - 'Relax, Take It Easy'
Mica Penniman werd in 2007 wereldberoemd. Met debuuthit 'Grace Kelly' stond hij een weekje bovenaan de Mega Top 50, een half jaartje later deed hij het nog beter. Wat heet: 'Relax, Take It Easy' ging liefst negen weken op een rij aan de leiding in de lijst. Sinds 2012 hebben we echter niks meer van de geboren Libanees vernomen.

Gabriella Cilmi - 'Sweet About Me'
Drie Mega Top 50-hits, waarvan één nummer 1-hit. Dat is het palmares van Gabriella Cilmi. Haar debuutsingle ‘Sweet About Me’ en haar eerste album Lessons To Be Learned komen begin 2008 uit, ze is dan pas 16 jaar. De tweede single is 'Sanctuary', maar die weet net als 'On A Mission' in 2010 geen hoge ogen te gooien.
