De Australische mannen van The Cat Empire maken een mix van jazz, rock, funk en latin. Zelf noemen ze hun stijl Live Australian Music, om aan te geven dat hoeveel ze ook mixen, de band nog steeds echt Australisch is.
Nieuw album The Cat Empire
The Cat Empire speelt al jaren gevulde zalen plat. Ze bereikten dit jaar (2013) de top met het nummer 'Brighter Than Gold'. Deze single staat op het nieuwste en zesde studioalbum Steal The Light. Je kon het live horen op zaterdagavond in That's Live.
